off to work

The semester has ended finally, And now - Off to work!
3 more projects to finish.
I hardly have any will to move myself out of bed,
let alone work on those projects.

ahhhhhhhhhh

One sentence/
What a miss - And it makes me so frustrated...
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

I had to say just one sentence to make it work -
But I simply blacked-out and in a few minutes it was all over.

And now I have this awful, unbearable feeling of "I was almost there!"
p.s.
Sorry for the lousy quality,
I forgot my camera on 800 iso...

jerusalem

Walking in the narrow streets of Jerusalem is one of the most unique experiences.
Especially in these troubled times, when Muslim and Jew are alike in their fear from each other.
So it was a real intense feeling walking inside the Muslim quarter during the Jewish holiday of Passover.
Was I afraid? A little.
Was it ok to be afraid? I guess it was.
Is there a real reason to be afraid? I would like to say no -
But here nowadays it seems fear has become a part of us.

For no good reason and for a very few good ones.

gum problum

I had an appointment with the dentist today.
I am terified of them.
First of all - I don't like needles.
Second - I don't like watching the dentist stick needles inside my mouth.
Third - It hurts!
Fourth - I can't stand the sound and feel of those awful dental drills.
Fifth - Need I go On?!
So when the dentists' secretary left a message on my cellphone telling me that the appointment was cancelled and I should call back to set a new one, I obviously didn't.
I'll just use satrwberries and baking soda and pray fiercely to the Dental God.

i'm aging and i like it

26th birth day coming in two days....
Whoa...

I actually feel different somehow-
Balder,
my knees hurt,
and I've got this nice beer-belly.

"Lines form on my face and hands
Lines form from the ups and downs
I´m in the middle, without any plans
I´m a boy and I´m a man."
Alice Cooper, I'm 18.

wednesday

Something a little different...
Wednesday's are usually good.

Even if everythings messed up and I have a rotten day,
Somehow by night time it all seems better.
I wish weeks would only contain Wednesdays.

And weekends.

:)

"My life seems unreal,
My crime an illusion,
A scene badly written
In which I must play.
Yet I know as I gaze
At my young love beside me,
The morning is just a few hours away."

Simon and Garfunkel, Wednesday Morning, 3 a.m.

3 years for Rona and me.
Amazing.

waddle waddle

Again it is time to waddle around until I get out of this mud called bad-mood.

After two weeks of vacation, hanging around with my family-from-Canada, It's even worse going back to daily life.

And I thought this vacation will energize me...

Morning\Desert.luv

The desert is a truely unique place.
So quiet yet full of sound, monotonous yet so versatile, relaxing yet truely fearsome.
Right now I think there is no more appealing place for me like the desert.
I have the feeling a week with no cell-phone, no work and no home-work will do me wonders.

I seem to complain a lot lately,
and it may seem that I'm not satisfied with my life right now.

I must say it's not true - my life is fine right now,
there's just this feeling that I need something else,
an outing for feelings or atristic desires that doesn't seem to be.

I tend to have this feeling while studying -
Could it be that learning actually bounds me from being creative?

Or maybe it gets me way to serious...

And I dislike being serious just as much as I like being serious.

Or maybe it just makes me serious when I shouldn't be.

Food for thought for me -
I'll go eat.

Beards are cool!

I'm working on a little vizualization of men with beards and moustaches.
Soon to be finished, I hope.
I think beards are more interesting than fashion.
Yup.

Super Powers

When I was a child I always told myself that If I'll be granted with 3 wishes, I would ask to have the ability to fly, to become invisible and indestructable.

Today I guess my three wishes would be different. Or maybe not.

I still want to fly.

I still want to be indestuctable.

I might ask for world peace instead of invisibility.

I sure need some super powers to finish my home-work right now...

Didn't feel like it

I didn't feel like posting anything lately..
It's a big No-No in the world of blogging, but hey-
Who really cares? It's not like thousands of visitors stop by here everyday.

For those of you who do bother - I love you.

So after a long brake (hopefully) will come productive times.

January 7, 2008

What I've been upto lately:

Listening to music, alot.
Studying - hard to breath, soon over.
Not taking any photographs - see "Studying".
Loosing my sight - need glasses soon.
Losing my hair - won't be needing shampoo soon.
Running - 11km last Saturday, success!
Loving my girlfriend - such comfort.
Working - need money for nothing.
Neglecting my virtual life - not missing it too much/ Thanx Facebook!

saba

My grandpa died yesterday.

My mom came to visit him at the old folks' home two weeks ago, and for the whole time she was there he refused to recognize her.
"I don't know you! Who are you? You're Pulling my leg- You're not Genya!"
She got really pissed off and was about to leave, when he signalled her with his finger to come close to him, then he whispered to her:
"Fooled you didn't I?"

That was the man he was.

When I turned 18 I really disliked the man, for how he treated my grandma.
I did not speak to him nor come visit him at the home.

A couple of years ago I went to visit him; He was half the man I remembered.
Old and confused.
Since then I visited him a number of times. The last time I saw him he didn't recognize me. Or maybe he did.

For me he was the man who is always there.
He survived the Holocaust, he survived cancer, he is still playing his accordion.
He is my grandpa, and I love him.

muddy blues

That's it.
Summer vacation is officially over.
From tomorrow it's back to college, back to homework.

It was a good summer tough. I really had lots of fun.
This picture, for example, was taken in the Dead Sea - it was my first time there. And I really liked it! So I travelled a lot, I saw life, I saw death... I've learned a lot.
Funny, I've actually learned more during those last couple of months than I did the whole previous year in college.

Have fun everyone!

Oh, and Cher - here's another adorable one for you! :)

Yemen

Teimanya Festival, Rosh Ha-Ain.
Celebrating the colture and life of the Yemenites.
Was interesting, to say the least;
Food, drink, music, dance, way of speak, accent, fashion, religion.
